  • New navigation

    Hello,

     

    I am looking to create navigation underneath the [ka_headerTopNav_ul ]. I have installed firebug and have unsuccessfully made several attempts at using firebug and Dreamweaver to get the desired results.

    In a perfect world I would have several links as a 2nd navigation, between the [ka_headerTopNav_ul ] and [ ka_headerSubNav ]. This navigation would lead to several new pages all using the same skeleton, different only by color and theme.

     

    i think i have all the right tools but not the know-how!

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Sorry j_dos, what you will need to do is use javascript to insert the markup. Take a look at this tutorial for adding menu items.

    Thank you Danny, I've been searching the message boards and have found a few different ways to do this, but all had problems with IE 8.0....except the one you sent me to. Thanks a lot!

    Now if only you can tell me the best code to re-order my navigation, I'd be a happy camper....uh, kicker....

    You can use the same technique, for example if you wanted to move the "Videos" tab to in front of the "Home" tab:

    $j('#ka_videoTab').insertBefore('#ka_homeTab');
